The consolidated profit of Oil & Gas Exploration & Production AD-Sofia grew 27% to 1.925 mln leva in the first quarter of 2007 compared to 1.519 mln leva a year ago, the company’s financial report published by BSE-Sofia shows.

Total revenues in the period increased 37% to 8.56 mln leva from 6.25 mln leva in the same period last year. Costs were up 38.2% to 6.16 mln leva from 4.45 mln leva in the first quarter of 2006.

The core capital of Oil & Gas Exploration & Production AD-Sofia stands at 12.23 mln leva, and its own capital is in the amount of 46.3 mln leva.

Total liabilities amount to 30 mln leva, while cash and equivalents are in the amount of 1.26 mln leva. Oil & Gas Exploration & Production AD-Sofia has 10 subsidiaries.

The main shareholders of the company are Chimimport with 52% of its capital, Inter Rubber Chemie EOOD with 21.97%, Universal Pension Fund Saglasie – 4.10% and Armeec insurance and reinsurance company with 2.29%.
