Petrol and Monbat were the most liquid stocks within the broad index BG40 last week (February 25 – 29), according to Profit.bg statistics, with respectively 476 and 357 transactions on the positions.

Chimimport ranks third with 351 deals and last week's leader Eurohold Bulgaria comes fourth with 331 transactions.

Industrial Capital Holding, Polimeri, Bulgarian Holding Company, Stara Planina Hold, Lead and Zinc Complex and Central Cooperative Bank could not make it into the top 10. More than 100 transactions were made on 17 positions in BG40.

The least liquid issues were Oil and Gas Exploration and Production and Decotex with 16 and 4 transactions respectively.

A total of 4,758 deals with the stocks in BG40 were made during the week and turnover came to 17.668 mln leva (9.03 mln euros), versus 3,673 deals and 11.476 mln leva (5.867 mln euros) in the preceding week.
