The optimism is back on BSE, which resulted in BG40 and BGTR30 closing up. At the same time, SOFIX and BGREIT ended on negative territory.

After hitting a seven month low yesterday, BG40 added 2.32% to 373.49 points today. BGTR30 rose 0.46% to 857.73 points.

SOFIX could not maintain the upward trend and fell below 1330 points. The index lost 0.26% to 1329.98. BGREIT added 0.56% to 98.24 points.

BSE's turnover reached 9.78 mln leva (5 mln euros) after a total of 2,990 transactions. 82 out of 127 active issues closed higher. The value of block and other agreed transactions stood at 65.13 mln leva (33.3 mln euros), which mainly came from a repo deal in which 13 mln Chimimport shares (8.67% of the capital) changed hands at 4.8 leva apiece (62.4 mln leva in total).

Petrol, Chimimport and Trace Group Hold were today's most liquid issues, according to Profit.bg's Quotes section. 189,338 shares of the fuel distributor changed hands in 147 transactions at an average of 4.49 leva, or 9.11% down from yesterday.

Chimimport added 3.31% to an average of 10.3 leva. 42,664 shares changed hands in 127 deals on the position today.

Trace Group Hold rose 7.66% to 143.87 leva at a turnover of 1,283 shares in 124 deals today.

Volumes larger than 100,000 shares were traded on four positions. First in these terms is, as we already said, Petrol Jsc.

First Investment Bank is second. 153,518 shares of the lender changed hands at prices between 9.33 and 9.48 leva, boosting the average 2.96% to 9.39 leva. The two largest transactions were for 50,000 and 57,129 shares at 9.4 leva apiece.

Yambolen (+29.79% to 3.05 leva), Slantse Stara Zagora-Tabak (+29.47% to 10.72 leva) and Serdicom (19.37% to 7.95 leva) lead the bulls today. The top bears were Simat (with 1 traded share at -30.05% to 4.19 leva), Solid Invest (-17.14% to 1.45 leva) and Zlaten lev (-14.28% to 6 leva).

Today's list of gainer also includes Eurohold Bulgaria (+4.98% to 5.48 leva), Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria (+5.79% to 2.56 leva), Balgarska Roza Sevtopolis (+3.03% to 2.04 leva) and Agria Group Holding (+3.16% to 8.17 leva).

Enemona, Industrial holding Bulgaria, Orgachim, Toplivo, Lead and Zinc Complex also ended on positive territory.
