Prime Minister Sergey Stabishev will open the 63rd edition of Plovdiv International Technical Fair on 24 September (Monday) at 11.00h.

The latest innovations in the fields of mechanical engineering, the automobile industry, transport, IT, software, electronics, construction, energetics, ecology, chemistry etc. will be presented at the forum.

More than 3,600 companies from 49 countries will take part in the event.

Germany is an official partner to the forum. The Fair will also have a Region Partner for the first time this year. This will be the Big Region – situated in the heart of the EU and encompassing the provinces of Saarland and Rainland -Pfaltz (Germany), Lotharingia (France), Valonia (Belgium), the Grand Duchy Of Luxembourg, as well as the French and German communities in Belgium.

The partnership symbolizes economic and social cooperation in EU and encourages interaction between different communities throughout EU.

PM Stanishev will hold working meetings with Valonia PM Rudi Demot and state secretary of the German Ministry of Economy and Technology Hartmut Shauerte.
