As of June 30 this year, Raiffeisen Bank's assets stand at 4.62 bln leva (2.362 bln euros), which is a 52.46% surge against the respective period last year. The bank's market share in these terms reached 9.79%, which ranks the bank among the top 3 players in Bulgaria.

At the end of June 2007 the credit portfolio surged 69.41% against June 30, 2006 to 2.618 bln leva (1.338 bln euros), maintaining an excellent amount of assets.

Deposits by physical persons and businesses also rose dynamically – 42.68% to 2.799 bln leva (1.431 bln euros) compared with June 2006.

The bank's after-tax profit in H1 stood at 43.40 mln leva (22.190 mln euros), or 30% up from H1 last year.

Raiffeisen Bank confirmed its position as one of the leading creditors to companies with an 11.56% market share.

In 2007 H1 Raiffeisen established itself as one of the leading creditors to small and medium businesses in Bulgaria. The banks's loans on this segment grew 75.25% to 1.26 bln leva (644.227 mln euros) in total.

The number of individual clients rose by 55% in H1. The number of debit cards issued in the period grew 47%, and the number of credit cards rose by 111%.

The number of ATMs increased by 62% and POS terminals by 52%.
