Тhe new week started with big sell-offs on some major positions on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE). As a result the SOFIX blue-chip index shed 2.42% to 408.91 points on the day. BG40 lost 0.92% to 126.70 points, while BGREIT closed 2.20% down at 47.14 points. BGTR30 lost 1.88% closing at 337.82 points.

The traded volume amounted to 1.03 mln leva on the day. A total of 65 issues were traded on the day with 11 of the companies posting stock price gains.

Chimimport's common stock prices plunged by 5.38% to 2.90 leva per share after 24,270 shares traded. The price of the preferred stock of the company went down by 3.12% to 3.101 leva per share.

Investors also sold Central Cooperative Bank's stock on the day. The shares of the bank depreciated by 1.46% to 1.35 leva per share.

Eurohold Bulgaria closed 2.57% to 1.175 leva per share.

Bulgarian-American Credit Bank's (BACB) stock price plummeted by 20% to 6.00 leva per share. A total of 3,319 shares лота. The decline was prompted by the forthcoming capital increase, which will be carried out a price of 4 leva per share.

The stock price of Bulgaria Real Estate Fund continues to decline falling by 8.79% on Monday to close at 0.602 leva per share. Fund Estates slipped by nearly 3% to 0.131 leva per share. FairPlay Properties was also among the day's decliners closing 15.25% down at 0.25 leva per share.

Zlaten Lev Holdong was among the few gainers on the day. The stock of the company appreciated by 3.64% to 1.14 leva per share.
