Four of the stock indexes in the region have lost more than 40% this year, shows data made available to Profit.bg by Karoll investment intermediary.

The Ukrainian PFTS has seen the biggest loss -46.08% to 633.09 points, while Montenegro's NEX20 and the Bulgarian SOFIX fell 42.46% and 41.84% respectively.

The Romanian BET has declined 40.40% between January 1 and July 25. The Serbian BELEX-15 and the Turkish ISE-100 have lost 33.37% and 31.70% in that period.

The Russian MICEX saw the smallest loss – 21.27%.

Last week indexes in CEE advanced. The top performers were the main indexes in Montenegro (+4.30%) and in Romania (+2.11%). The Serbian BELEX added 1.59% and the Macedonian MBI-10 gained 1.43%.

MICEX was the only index in CEE to decline last week (-8.38%).
