SOFIX and BG40 closed on positive territory today adding 0.66% and 1.09% to respectively 1276.62 and 362.19 points.

BGREIT and BGTR30 declined by 0.03% and 0.2% to respectively 97.5 and 824.38 points.

BSE's turnover stood at 8.88 mln leva (4.54 mln euros). 57 (44%) out of the 131 active issues today closed up. The value of block and other agreed transactions came to 3.98 mln leva (2.03 mln euros).

13 companies in SOFIX advanced, five declined, and Elana Agricultural Land REIT stayed unchanged at 2.3 leva.

The decliners among the blue chips were Kaolin (-0.43% to an average of 13.74 leva), M+S Hydraulic (-0.1% to 9.96 leva), Neochim (-1.09% to 53.44 leva), Orgachim (-0.34% to 416.6 leva) and Sopharma (-0.15% to 6.68 leva).

The biggest gainers in SOFIX were BACB (+4.1% to 70.8 leva), Industrial Holding Bulgaria (+4.28% to 7.8 leva) and Sparky Eltos (+4.58% to 11.2 leva).

Monbat, Chimimport, Lead and Zinc Complex, Euroins, Holding Roads, Albena and Corporate Commercial Bank added more than 1% to their market capitalizations today. The average prices on the above mentioned positions settled at respectively 26.17 leva, 9.65 leva, 9.99 leva, 1153.64 leva, 92.17 leva, and 86.49 leva.

Monbat is expected to announce financial results for January 2008 today.

The most liquid stock today was that of FIBank. 54,087 shares changed hands in 146 transactions on the position. The average price reached 8.22 leva, which is 0.24% up from opening.

Chimimport and Eurohold Bulgaria are second and third in terms of liquidity today. 128 deals were made on the position of the Varna-based economic group. At the same time, 13,716 shares of Eurohold changed hands at an average of 5.42 leva or 2.27% up from yesterday.

The biggest trading volumes were seen on the positions of Bulgaria Real Estate REIT (88,503 shares), FIBank (54,087 shares) and Advance Equity Holding (39,500 shares).
