Sopharma Jsc's (

) sales on foreign markets rose 29% and on the home market by 0.30% this March, which is a total of 6% up from smae month 2006.

Q1 sales revenue is up a total of 17% y/y, and 76% on foreign markets, x3news reported.

The company's sales in Bulgaria did not expand due to the restructuring in ampule production.

As we already reported, Sopharma Jsc is planning to invest some 60 mln euros in 2008 and 2009. The company expects a 10-12% rise in sales revenues this year and a 20-25% increase in pre-tax profit.

Sopharma posted net profit in the amount of 30.63 mln leva (15.6 mln euros) last year, which is 39% up from 2006 (22.034 mln leva, 11.2 mln euros).

Main shareholders are Donev Investments and Telso Jsc, controlling 25.64 and 23.77% respectively. Telecomplect and Gramercy Markets Funs own 20.42% and 17.08%.

Shares eked 0.07% in trade today closing at 6.12 leva a piece.
