The St. Konstantin and Elena resort complex will become a SPA center. The owner's aim is to popularize the mineral springs in the region.

All hotels around the Chernomoretz Hotel will be renovated and Chernomoretz itself will be upgraded to a five-star one.

The renovated complex will have its own parking and SPA center. The company also has plans of building a new hotel on the site of the Roza Hotel, which was destroyed in a fire, administrative director Jelio Dushev said.

He also said that all four-star hotels in the complex enjoyed a steady occupancy rate last season. However, the other hotels need renovation in order to attract more customers. The focus during season 2008 will be improvements on the infrastructure.

St. Konstantin and Elena marks its 100 year anniversary this year. The first hotel opened doors back in 1908. The first guests came from the Czech Republic, so it was decided to name the first hotel Prague.

The company will also aim at preserving the greenery in the resort, which is to appear as an extension of the Evksinograd park. The plans also include extensions of the sewerage system, which will be completed after the end of seson 2008.
