The Bulgarian Black Sea resorts are expecting well-off Russian tourists due to the fact that gambling has been placed under complete ban in Russia as of the beginning of the month.

So far Sunny Beach casinos have been visited mostly by Israeli tourists. In order to attract more tourists the representatives of the gambling business have increased the coefficients of bets and offer bonuses.

The global crisis has affected bookmakers' clubs in this country: about five per cent of theses facilities have been closed given the ten-fold drop of bets since late 2008.

Bulgaria is planning to adopt amendments to the Gambling Act that will envisage stricter regulations on gambling. On-line gambling is currently under ban in seven EU Member States. It is authorized in the remaining twenty countries, Bulgaria inclusive.
