The Bulgarian telco said the sale of its contact center is part of its plans to focus on its core activity and become a customer-oriented organization in all areas of services it offers – fixed plans, mobile plans, internet connection etc.
The buyer Sofica Group Jsc is an independent Bulgarian company for outsourcing of business processes. It employs over 200 people and works with leading Bulgarian companies in the areas of information technologies and telecommunications, finance and insurance, media etc.
In 2007 Hewlett Packard chose Sofica for its partner on the projects of its Global Delivery center in Bulgaria.
BTC Contact currently works with 17 countries, among which Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Holland, Denmark, Switzerland, USA, Canada etc.
The international contact center started operation in June 2004 when Money Gram signed a contract with BTC after researching 28 countries.
BTC established an international network and hired 50 people in order to launch the company.
