Central Cooperative Bank (CCB), Chimimport and Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria are the companies with the highest turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in the last 20 sessions among the ones that meet the criteria for short sales and margin trade.

CCB's daily turnover stands at 31,000 leva, BSE data show. The average daily turnover on the position of Chimimport stands at 29,000 leva, while an average of 27,400 shares in Zarnieni Hrani Bulgaria are traded on a daily basis.

Fourth ranked First Investment Bank has an average daily turnover of 24,000 outpacing Sopharma, which has an average daily turnover of 21,000 leva.

The other three companies that meet the criteria are Industrial Holding Bulgaria, Monbat and Eurohold Bulgaria, Ivan Takev told in an interview for Profit TV.

The average daily turnover of the eight companies exceeds 169,000 leva.

The changes to the rules and regulations for margin trade, short selling and borrowing of financial instrument will come into effect tomorrow.
