The October fluctuations on the stock exchange extended to the first day of November, and three of the official BSE indicators declined today. In spite of a very strong session in terms of money turnover, 56% of active issues ended on negative territory.

BG40 dropped the most – 1.62% to 596.82 points, SOFIX dipped 0.97% to 1915.63 points, and BGTR30 lost 0.93% to 1212.96. The only exception today was again BGREIT, which added 0.26% to 105.31.

BSE's daily turnover stood at 79.210 mln leva (40.450 mln euros). Turnover was mainly due to the active trading on the position of Sparky Eltos. 1,692,706 shares (12.5% of the capital) changed hands in transactions worth nearly 28 mln leva (14.316 mln euros). The bourse's market capitalization reached 29.214 bln leva (14.936 bln euros).

Of the 19 active issues on the Official Market of Equity, 15 declined. CCB suffered the most – the stock dropped 4.01% to an average of 11.96 leva at a turnover of 1,551 shares. The price varied between 11.82 leva and 12.30 leva.

Petrol lost 2.85% to an average of 4.77 leva after the strong advance yesterday. 1,600 shares changed hands in 6 transactions between 4.7 leva and 4.79 leva. Bids are at 4.74 leva and asks at 4.88 leva.

Katex was the biggest gainer on the Official Market today. The stock added 3.59% to an average of 22.52 leva at a very modest traded volume.

Sopharma's winning series, which started October 24, are continuing. The pharmaceutical company increased its market capitalization by 2.17% to an average of 9.40 leva.

The only movement on the Unofficial market was on the position of insurer DZI, which added 11.33% to an average of 207.2 leva at a turnover of 165,593 shares between 189.45 leva and 207.2 leva. It became clear at the beginning of October, that just nine persons have accepted the tender offer for DZI shares, providing just 10% of the 725,828 shares KBC is pursuing. The tender offer is at 188.37 leva.

The other three companies related to Sopharma had a strong day. Aroma shares added 13.05%, Momina Krepost climbed 10.06%, and Lavena rose 6.16%.

Neochim, on the other hand, dropped 6.21% to an average of 82.77 leva. This was the second day of decline for the Dimitrovgrad-based company after a not very convincing report.

The same reason set Bulstrad shares 5.37% back to 332.02 leva. Moststroy dipped 4.69%, and Zaharni Zavodi once again failed to stay above the 30 leva level and fell 5.48% to an average of 28.79 leva.
