The shares of Sofia Mel Jsc were the most rising on BSE in 2007, shows a Profit.bg inquiry. The stock added the astonishing 4700% in the 250 trade sessions of 2007 to an average of 62.45 leva.

Four other issues added more than 1000% to their market value each. These are Rosachim, Chugunoleene, Sparky Eltos and Yavor Jsc-Varna.

Slanchev Den, Eurocapital Bitex, Bulgarian Transport Holding, Unimash Corporation and Kiusitendil Industrial Park also make it into the top 10 of BSE's most rising stocks.

Orgachim ranks 17th with a 458% hike, its shares being one of the most important factors defining indexes' direction.

The stock of Fazerles and Doverie United Holding, both components of the broad BG40, registered smaller increases.

Hydropnevmotehnika, Industrial Holding Company, Stara Planina Holding, Holding Nov Vek, and SAF Magelan could not make it into the top 20, although the stock price rose significantly.
