More than 100 deals were sealed on the positions of 12 companies, accounting for 30% of the stocks included in the calculation of the broader BG40 index of the Bulgaroan Stock Exchange (BSE) in the period May 7-10, Profit.bg data show.

Chimimport was the most heavily traded stock in the period with 677 transactions, followed by Eurohold Bulgaria with 250. The deals sealed on the positions of Monbat and Lead and Zinc Complex, which ranked third and fourth, respectively, also exceeded 200.

Doverie United Holding, Moststroy, Central Cooperative Bank, Orgachim, Kaolin and Industrial Holding Bulgaria were also among the most liquid stocks in the period.

Industrial Capital Hoding and First Investment Bank also registered over 100 transactions each but failed to make it into the top 10.

Zaharani Zavodi and Bulgarian American Credit Bank were the less liquid stocks with 9 deals each, while Lomsko Pivo and Holding Varna A registered 13 and 16 transactions, respectively.

A total of 3,602 deals in the BG40 stocks were sealed in the period May 7-10. The volume of the traded shares stood at 1.38 mln while the turnover amounted to 9.41 mln leva.
