The clients of two investment intermediaries sealed more than 10,000 transactions over the twenty trading sessions of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) in March, the monthly bulletin of the bourse revealed.

The clients of investment intermediary Karoll sealed 13,212 transactions in March, while those of BenchMark Finance completed 11,015 deals during the month. Elana Trading ranks third with 7,898 deals.

Ug Market and Populiarna Kasa 95 round out the top five with 4,576 and 3,388 transactions, respectively.

UniCredit Bulbank topped the ranking of investment intermediaries in terms of turnover in March with 147.818 mln leva (75.57 mln euros). Real Finance clinched the number two spot with 63.18 mln leva (32.3 mln euros) turnover, while Eurobank EFG's clients sealed deals with a combined value of 52.326 mln leva last month.

First Financil Brokerage House and BenchMark Finance round out the top five with 44.927 mln leva (22.97 mln euros) and 43.43 mln leva (22.2 mln euros) turnover.

The average number of the deals sealed daily during BSE's 20 sessions in March stood at 2,084, while the turnover amounted to 16.404 mln leva (8.38 mln euros).
