Unipack AD-Pavlikeni posts a 10 000 leva profit for the year’s first quarter against a loss of 133 000 leva a year before, BSE-Sofia announced.

The company’s revenues in the period grew 20.7% to 2.55 mln leva and total costs rose 13.1% to 2.54 mln leva.

Unipack’s core capital is in the amount of 1.136 mln leva allocated in 113.6 000 shares with a face value of 10 leva. The company’s own capital towards end of March stood at 6.77 mlnleva.

The company’s activities include production of special paper, cardboard and packages, printing services, raw materials and ready products trade as well as transportations within the country and abroad.

Ford Ltd controls 48.95% of the company’s capital while International Packaging EOOD and the Ministry of Economy and Energy hold 39.61 and 2.15 % respectively.

In December Fort Ltd acquired 88.56% of the capital of Unipack at an average of 74.93 leva/share or a total of 7,5 mln leva and later transferred 39.6 % at 76 leva reducing its participation in the capital to less than 49 %.

The company’s stock was last traded on April 26 at 47 leva/share.
