A Council of Ministers' draft decision regarding the motorway has been sent to other ministries for coordination, said Gagauzov, who expects the document to be approved at the next cabinet meeting.
It includes the opinions of Eurostat and the Directorate-General for Energy and Transport of the European Commission regarding state assistance for the project. Gagauzov said no such assistance would be offered.
The contact's key parameters have remained unchanged, only a couple of items may be added to clarify some provisions.
The construction of three sections of the stretch of the motorway running between Stara Zagora and Karnobat should start in 2008.
Commenting on another major project, the Bourgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline, the regional development minister said the registration of the International Project Company which will
manage the project was going to start. If the final agreement on the setting up of the company must be signed again, it can be done during Russian President Vladimir Putin's upcoming visit, Gagauzov said.
