More than 1 000 000 passengers have been served at Varna Airport so far, company's Press Service announced. The record number of flights per day (121) is reached on the 6th of July, while the record number of passengers (17 347) is observed on the 6th of August.

The passengers, flying the most, are those from Germany, Russia, Great Britain and Denmark. People from Estonia mark the greatest increase in tourist arrivals with 390%, followed by the Slovaks with 30.8 % and the Hungarians - 25.2%.There is also an augmentation of the passengers, travelling from the Arab States.

New destinations are available this summer at Varna Airport: Russia (Perm, Tyumen); Great Britain (Doncaster, Sheffield); France (Havre, Duval, Saint-Brieuc); Poland (Poznan) and Ukraine (Odessa).

More than 70 airline companies provide charter and regular flights at the airport.
