The so called high yield funds are those which have invested most of their assets in stock, and this is the reason they bring high returns and are called high yield funds. According to data by BSE and profit.bg a total of 16 funds in Bulgaria have invested more than 70% of their money in shares. The data is from the end of August.

Alfa Index Top 20 tops the list with 90% invested in stock. Alfa Index is the first index fund in Bulgaria, and the first fund which allows on-line purchases.

Status Finance ranks second with 88.15%, KD Shares Bulgaria is third with 86.23% of assets invested in shares, of which 69.04% are Bulgarian.

Fourth and fifth are Standard Investment High Yiled Fund and Advance Eastern Europe with, respectively, 84.57% and 84.04% invested in shares, followed by BenchMark Fund-2 and BenchMark Fund -3 with 83%, and 82% respectvely.

Status New Shares and Capman Max also make it into the top 10. These funds have invested respectively 80.9% and 80.64% in stock, as well as Alfa Index Properties (80%).

There are another 6 funds which have invested more than 70% of their assets in stock, and 4 other funds have invested bewteen 67% and 69%.
