At the end of June 2008 Zaharni Zavodi's (

) sales revenues stood at 25.17 mln leva (12.8 mln euros), compared with 14.23 mln leva (7.27 mln euros) a year ago. This is a hike of 77%, the company's H1 report reveals.

Net revenues from production sales came to 17.8 mln leva (9.1 mln euros), against 9.9 mln leva (5.06 mln euros) for the corresponding period a year ago. Revenues from sales of goods reached 1.7 mln leva against 221,000 leva a year ago. Total revenues are up from 14.72 mln leva to 25.6 mln leva (13.08 mln euros).

Costs on economic elements rise 75% y/y to 23.27 mln leva (11.8 mln euros). The change is attributed to rising costs of materials (up from 8.77 mln to 14.36 mln leva).

Total costs in H1 stand at 24.92 mln leva (12.7 mln euros), compared with 14.6 mln leva (7.4 mln euros).

The company from Gorna Oriahovtisa saw H1 profit go up 47% to 617,000 leva.

According to the non-consolidated report, the balanced value of assets stand at 74.43 mln leva (38 mln euros), compared with 72.06 mln leva a year ago.

Current liabilities are down from 25.32 mln to 16.87 mln leva, while non-current liabilities soared from 30.92 mln to 41.12 mln leva.

The company's core capital stands at 8.34 mln leva (4.26 mln euros) and equity capital is at 16.44 mln leva (8.4 mln euros), against 15.82 mln leva (8.08 mln euros) at the end of 2007.

30 shares have traded hands so far on BSE at prices between 8.12 and 9.1 leva. The price at opening was 9.1 leva.
