The shareholders of ZMM-Metalik Jsc-Pazardzhik (

) authorized at an extraordinary general meeting, held on July 17, the Board of Directors of the company to raise the capital to 11 mln leva, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange said.

The capital increase will be carried out through the public offering of shares. The Board of Directors was authorized to draw up and submit a prospectus to the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC), to sign a contract with an investment intermediary and to take all factual and legal actions necessary for the capital raise.

The shareholders of the company decided at a general meeting held in the end of June that the company should hike its capital from 201,000 leva to 8.442 mln leva.

The increase will be carried out through the conversion of 8.241 mln leva of the company's profit for 2007 into capital.

The remainder of the company's profit will be allocated to the Reserves Fund after the capital increase.

ZMM-Metalik's stock was last traded at a price of 0.65 leva per share.
