The funds for direct payment to agricultural producers amount to 391.8 mln leva, for market support- 258.2 mln leva and the funds provided by the European Agricultural Fund for Development of Rural Areas and transferred for direct payment amount to 78.15 mln leva. This was stated in DF Zemedelie’s prospectus approved by the Council of Ministers, BTA reported.

The funds on the financial framework negotiated with the European Commission will be paid by the Payment Agency.

DF Zemedelie’s accumulates its funds through its own resources and the annual subsidy from the budget.
It is spent on payment of subsidies for plant-growing and stock-breeding, on investment loans, payments on agreed guarantees, personnel’s payroll, capital expenditures and the fund’s operating costs.

22.5 mln leva is planned for payment of direct subsidies and another 22.5 mln leva as capital subsidies.
