Medica AD-Sofia posted a non-consolidated profit of 391,000 leva in the first quarter of 2007 compared to a profit of 173,000 leva a year ago, the company’s financial report published by BSE-Sofia shows.

Net sales revenues were up 12.78% to 3.397 mln leva from 3.012 mln leva in the first quarter of 2006.

Economic elements costs grew 5.74% to 2.948 mln leva.

In the end of March 2007 Medica’s assets were worth 21.2 mln leva against 20.92 mln leva in the corresponding period last year.

Medica AD has a core capital of 326,000 leva and own capital of 19.008 mln leva. Doverie Capital AD controls 85.93% of Medica’s capital.

Medica’s stock was traded at 100 leva/share yesterday.
