The indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed mixed for the second straight day today. The SOFIX blue-chip index and the BG TR30 index advanced by 0.3% and 0.4%, respectively, while the BGREIT shed 0.4% of its value on the day. The broader BG40 index ended the session with a slight gain of 0.03%.

A total of 212,213 shares, accounting for 3.1% of the capital of Agria Group Holding, traded hands today. The stock of the company appreciated by nearly 27% to an average of 8.63 leva per share.

Petrol's stock price went up to 6.63 leva per share after nearly 147,000 shares of the company were traded on the day.

The biggest turnover (858,000 shares) was registered on the position of Chimimport today. The stock, however, depreciated by 1.4%.

Th shareholders of EMKA will decide at a general meeting not to distribute the 2.6 mln leva (1.32 mln euros) profit for 2007 as dividend and to add part of it to the company's capital, it emerged today.

If shareholders approve the proposal, capital will grow from 5.38 mln leva (2.7 mln euros) to 10.75 mln leva (5.49 mln euros). The company will also use reserves and part of the retained profit from previous years to boost capital.

EMKA's stock price went up by over 5% after a total of 44, 300 shares in the company changed hands today.
