The trading turnover of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) amounted to 328.09 mln leva (167,7 mln euros) in March, the monthly bulletin of the bourse shows.

BSE's turnover in March was the third lowest monthly turnover in the last 12 months. August and Decembert 2007 top the ranking with 3.725 bln leva (1,9 bln euros) and 1.429 bln leva (730.63 mln euros), respectively.

The turnover was also high in May and July 2007 at 665.5 mln leva (340.26 mln euros) and 551.3 mln leva (281.87 mln euros), respectively.

The lowest turnover was recorded in February 2008 and April 2007, when stocks for 209.05 mln leva (106,8 mln euros) and 188.4 mln leva (96.32 mln euros), respectively, traded hands.
