The brewery's net profit for the first seven months of the year surged to 608,000 leva (310,865 euros) from 30,000 leva (15,338 euros) a year ago.
The results exceed the projected profit for the entire 2007 and meet the objectives set in the company's prospectus.
Lomsko Pivo is one of the few public companies which opt for complete transparency of activity. Each month the company will post a report on revenues from the preceding month on its official website. The January 2007 -July 2007 report was posted on the website yesterday.
20% of the brewery's capital (900,000 shares) was offered at an auction on the BSE last month (July).
The auction was planned to take place in three consecutive days. However all shares changed hands at the maximum price on the first two days.
8014 shares changed hands yesterday at prices between 3.44 and 3.54 leva.
