Sales of Assets Boost Petrol Jsc's Profit To 162 Mln Leva In H1

Petrol Jsc () posted H1 profit in the amount of 161.89 mln leva (82.7 mln euros), versus 15.53 mln leva (7.9 mln euros) a year ago, the non-consolidated report shows.

Net sales revenues are up from 351.6 mln leva to 610.93 mln leva (312.3 mln euros). The hike is attributed to sales of goods, which went up 16.8% to 373.57 mln leva, as well as revenues filed as Other (234.05 mln leva).

Total revenues amount to 621.84 mln leva (317.9 mln euros), compared with 367.84 mln leva (188 mln euros) a year ago.

Costs on economic elements are up 27% to 432.82 mln leva (221 mln euros). The balanced value of sold assets changed from 305.23 mln leva to 383.7 mln leva.

At the end of H1 Petrol's assets stand at 620.34 mln leva (317 mln euros), compared with 516.61 mln leva at the end of 2007. Non-current assets are down from 153.65 mln leva to 116.89 mln leva.

Non-current liabilities rose to 194.82 mln leva, while current liabilities are down from 172.17 mln to 112 mln leva.

Petrol Jsc has core capital in the amount of 109.25 mln leva (55.8 mln euros) and equity capital of 313.53 mln leva (160 mln euros), compared with 151.63 mln leva.

The stock added 7.97% on BSE today to 9.73 leva at a turnover of 13,190 shares.
