Each year the Balkan Real Estate Conference (BalREc) and the Balkan Property Exhibition (BalPEx) bring together top managers from the leading Balkan companies in Sofia.

This year the conference will take place between April 14 and 20.

The second regional conference BalREc – Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia will take place April 15 and 16 in the Kempinski Hotel Zografski and the BalPEx exhibition will be held 18 – 20 April.

Representatives of the leading real estate companies in the region will give speeches. The conference will also include discussions on issues such as the global credit crisis and its impact on the Balkan region, in which investors, architects, brokers, and consultants will take part.

Some of the participants this year are Hungarian developer Trigranit, the American Federal Development, Colliers, the biggest industrial property owner in the world Prologis etc.

This year's edition will have a special focus on the property markets in Macedonia, Albania. Northern Greece and Montenegro.

The conference will be followed by the largest international property and urban planning exhibition on the Balkans – BalPEx. 150 exhibitors will be featured on an area of 4,000 sqm. They will be presenting their latest commercial, industrial, residential and holiday projects.

The eight shopping mall projects currently under construction in Bulgaria will also be presented.

The Bojurishte logistics and industrial park, the largest on the Balkans, will be presented for the first time during the exhibition. Several large industrial projects in Plovdiv and Varna will also be featured.
