Following yesterday's short break the indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) continued their slide today. The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 2.25% to 407.86 points. The index is 20.2% down from its peak of 511.34 points for the year and (September 17, 2009) and 57% above its low of 259.95 points (February 24, 2009).

The broader BG 40 slipped by 1.54%, to 114.33 points today, while BG TR30 closed 1.83% down at 317.71 points. BG REIT posted the smallest decline of 0.60%, to 46.63 points.

BSE's overall turnover exceeded 2 mln leva. The trade in Bulgaria Real Estate Fund accounted for 1.14 mln leva of the figure. A total of 81 issues were traded on the day with 15 of the stocks posting price gains.

KTB (+0.69%, 56.9 leva) was the only advancers among the stocks included in the calculation of SOFIX. The traded volume on the position came to a mere 10 shares.

The other three actively traded banks on BSE posted declines on the day: CCB (-3.80%, to 1.19 leva), FIBank (-3.54%, to 2.18 leva) and BACB (-0.64%, to 17.00 leva).

Industrial Holding Bulgaria shed 3.89% on the day closing at 1.432 leva per share.

Infrastructure companies Holding Roads (-1.33%, to 2.22 leva) and Trace Group Hold (-2.90%, 60.20 лв.) also ended Thursday's session with declines.

Neochim was among BSE's biggest decliners on the day. The stock of the company depreciated by 9.82% to 25.511 leva per share.

Eurohold Bulgaria lost 3.58% to end today's session at 1.184 leva per share.

Petrol was the biggest advancer on the day. The stock of the company added 22.36% to its value closing at 4.099 leva per share.

Agria Group Holding advanced by 6.48% to 4.60 leva per share.

Advance Terrafund was also among today's gainers advancing by 2.20% to 1.349 leva per share.

Stara Planina Hold closed 0.26% up at 1.91 leva.
