The main indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) posted losses today, in line with the trend on the global stock exchanges.

The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 1.37% to 1,068.76 points, while the BG40 lost 2.11% to 271.64 points.

BSE, however, outperformed considerably the Bucharest Stock Exchange on the day. Romania's main index ВЕТ lost 5.8% in the afternoon dropping to 5,666. The ВЕТ-С declined by 4.5% to 4,182,6 points.

Stara Planina Hold's stock depreciated by nearly 3% to 5 leva per share even though the shareholders of the company decided earlier today on the repurchasing of shares.

Synergon Holding also ended the day in negative territory. The stock price of the company went down by 3% to 7.25 leva per share.

The last deal sealed on the position of Doverie United Holding sent the stock price of the company 5.41% lower, compared to yesterday.

A total of 62,500 shares in Chimimport changed hands on the day. The stock price of the company skidded 3% lower to 8.08 leva per share.

Infrastructure companies posted smaller declines. Holding Roads and Trace Group Hold shed 0.12% and 1.22% to 16.89 leva and 111.30 leva per share.

Rousse-based paint and varnished maker Orgachim's stock slipped by 0.87% to 223.05 leva per share. A total of 233 shares were traded in the company today. The stock price of the company exceeded 800 leva per share last october.

BSE's trading turnover amounted to nearly 5 mln leva today.
