DZI Bank AD-Sofia’s stock is halted from trading starting today, BSE-Sofia announced.

The decision was made by Dimana Rankova, deputy chairperson of the Financial Supervision Commission in charge of the investment supervision activity, after the bank sent a proposal to be delisted from the Financial Supervision Commission’s register of public companies and other issuers.

DZI Bank had assets worth 1.038 bln leva in the end of 2006. Its investment portfolio stood at 78.508 mln leva.

The total value of the bank’s deposits was 928.472 mln leva, Bulgarian National Bank information shows. It posted a 1.728 mln leva profit last year.
