Euroins Posts 677,000 Leva Net Profit in First Quarter
Euroins AD net profit grew four times to 677,000 Leva in the first quarter of 2007 from 158,000 leva a year ago, the company announced.
Premium revenues in the period were up 23% to 12,677,000 leva.
Good financial results are due to the better quota of damages which reached 34.25% from 38.33% in the previous reporting period, as well as due to higher financial operations revenues which increased to 538,000 leva from 21,000 leva a year ago.
The biggest growth was registered in revenues from the “Kasko” insurance – 74.3% or 5,652,000 leva versus 3,243,000 leva in the first quarter of 2006, followed by “Accident” insurance up 30.1% and “Property” insurance up 26.2%.
