Today (June 28) is the final date for trade with the stock of Albena AD entitling investor to dividend.

At a meeting held 16 June, shareholders approved to pay 0.50 leva gross dividend per share, or 0.465 leva net dividend per share.

The beach resort is expecting more than 200,000 tourists this summer, which means 1.9 mln – 2 mln hotel bookings per night.

During the meeting, executive director Krasimir Stanev said the company is planning to build several new hotels comprising a total of 1000 – 1500 rooms.

The buildings will be situated on part of the plots where the old hotels stood. Similarly, the 4-star Flamingo appeared on the site of the old Prague Hotel last year. The company is planning to demolish the buildings of Kardam, Dobrotitsa, Dorostor, and Kamelia hotels in the near future.

In order to reduce traffic inside the resort, the company is planning to build a bus station and car parks at the entrance of the vacation village, Mr. Stanev also said.

299 shares changed hands on the position yesterday, at prices ranging between 107.60 and 113.00 leva/share.
