The general meeting of shareholders of Central Cooperative Bank AD Sofia approved capital increase from the current 72.76 mln leva (32.201 mln euros) to between 78.824 mln leva (40.302 mln euros) and 181.902 mln leva (93.005 mln euros), through the issuance of new common, paperless shares with a face value of 1 lev.

The emission value will be between 6.093 mln leva (3.115 mln euros) and 109.141 mln leva (55.802 mln euros). The minimum issue value per share has been set at 1 lev, BSE reports.

The exact issue value and the number of rights entitling to the subscription of 1 share will be determined by the Board of Directors.

The finl date for transacting the company's stock as a result of which the holder will be able to take part in the capital increase is 11 June 2007.

Shareholders also decided not to pay dividend on last year's income, which is in the amount of 12.013 mln leva (6.142 mln euros) and which will go to the Reserves Fund.

Just before the start of today's trade session bids and asks on the position are at 9.05 leva and 9.10 leva/share.
