A vacation village for family tourism is being built in the Village of Dimievtzi near Tryavna. The project is funded by the Belgium Bel Elin, the local administration reports.

The village willl be built on an area of 20 decares. The Belgium company plans to build 30 houses, a restaurant, a swimming-pool, a supermarket, tennis court, and playgrounds for children.

The initial investment made by the company is in the amount of 2 mln euros , but it is expected that the project will require more money, said Evgeny Maas, a partner in Bel Elin.

Two houses and a restaurant are currently in the process of construction, and are to be completed by September, Maas also said.

Since there is no electricity and sewarage in the village, the company will use solar energy to power supply the vacation villas. Technologies developed in Belgium will be used to supply and process water for the complex.
