Residential Real Estate Prices Up 5.4% in 2Q

Residential real estate prices in Bulgaria rose 5.4% to an average of 1 041.1 leva per sq. m. in 2Q , shows data released by the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
Varna continues to be the most expensive city in these terms, with prices rising 3.9% over the period to 1 710.3 leva per sq. m.
The capital city Sofia ranks third, with an increase of 3.8% to 1 647.8 leva per sq. m. Another beautiful city on the Black Sea coast – Burgas is third with 1 366.7 leva per sq. m., or 4.1% up compared with 1Q.
Next is Rousse – where prices surged 10.9% to some 1 182.7 leva per sq. m., followed by Stara Zagora and Plovdiv.
Other cities where prices jumped more than 10% are Vidin and Pleven with increases of 23%, and 11% respectively.
Th price rose in all district centers, with the exception of Targovishte where they remained unchanged at 810.6 leva per sq. m.
