Neochim 1H Profit Up 28.7%
The 1H Profit of Neochim AD (
) is up 28.7% from 6.29 mln leva (3.216 mln euros) a year ago, to 8.09 mln leva (4.136 mln euros), shows the company's non-consolidated report filed with the BSE today.
The Dimitrovgrad-based company attributes the good results to the 14.6% hike in revenues which grew from 112.6 mln leva (57.571 mln euros) a year ago, to nearly 129 mln leva (65.956 mln euros) , as of 30 June 2007.
The increase is mainly due to higher revenues from core activity and production sales.
Meanwhile, costs grew 13.7% to 120.9 mln leva (61.815 mln euros), against 106.32 mln leva (54.360 mln euros) in 2006 1H. Higher costs in core activity is again cited as the reason for the increase.
540 shares of the company changed hands today at an average of 57.44 leva or 2% down from the previous session.
Currently on the position bids are at 58.03 leva and asks at 60 leva per share.
The stock has climbed nearly 21% over the past six months. Towards the end of last week it reached the record 62.47 leva/share.
