The stock of 142 companies was traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange today, compared with 130 emissions yesterday. Daily turnover stood at 22.231 mln leva (11.366 mln euros), against 14.103 mln leva (7.210 mln euros) yesterday.

The broad indicator BG40 added 0.54% to 393.61 points, while SOFIX lost 0.30% to 1569.12 points. The total market capitalization of public companies reached 23.129 bln leva (11.826 bln euros) at the end of the session.

547,000 shares changed hands on the position of Bulgarian Telecommunications Company at prices between 11.15 leva and 11.60 leva. Active trade was also seen on the position of Lead and Zinc Complex, where 106,000 shares changed hands at levels ranging from 65.00 leva and the record 72.495 leva/share.

Banks' stock continued to decline in price. Central Cooperative Bank and Economic and Investment Bank lost 0.32% and 0.73%, respectively, to 9.27 leva and 119.12 leva. First Investment Bank and Corporate Commercial Bank lost 1.26% and 0.86% of their market value respectively to 12.57 leva and 86.66 leva.

The stock of Monbat advanced 0.17% to an average of 17.71 leva, while that of Odessos Ship Repair Yard and Orgachim climbed 0.37% and 2.44%, respectively, to 292.75 and 444.81 leva.
