„My dream was to become a broker. But it didn't come true. I talk to brokers every day now, though, because of my job. I meet brokers, analysts, consultants, portfolio managers,“ a friend of mine once told me. He also said that they worked a lot, thay made good money, and loved to party after work.

Have you met your broker? Did you ever wonder how old he or she is? Young and ambitious or with many years of experience?

Our team tried to find out who are the youngest brokers on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (of course by young we by no means imply unexperienced).

Somoni 2001 broker Ivelina Vassileva is just 22. Galya Stefanova from Status Invest, Stoimenka Tonova from Piraeus Bank, Blagovest Krachev from Karoll, and Yavor Spasov from MKB Unionbank are all 24 years old.

A year older than them are Kamelia Dimitrova (Karoll), Vldimir Nechev (Investbank), Nikolay Vitliemov (Fiko Invest) and the team at Raiffeisen Bank – Martin Tarpanov and Hristo Durev.

There are nine 26-year old brokers on the BSE. These are Stoyka Papratilova (Capital Finance), Marin Kosturski (BenchMark Finance), Iliyan Skarlatov (Sofia International Securities), Angle Rabadjiski (Karoll), Hristo Jenev (Intercapital Markets), Plamen Genchev (Dealing Financial Company), Yani Dragov (TBI Invest), Borislav Simeonov (Delta Stock), and Hristo Terziev (Aval IN).

Our survey found four 27-year olds – Tsvetelina Ivanova (STS Finance), Teodora Gogova (Balkan Investment Company), Radosveta Yordanova (Makler-2002), and Yaser Omer El Amin (BenchMark Finance).

KD Securities' ladies Neli Petrova and Daniela Jeleva are 28, as well as Irina Hristova (Ever), Christina Boyadjieva (Standard Investment), Galina Borisova (Corporate Commercial Bank), Krasimir Bacinov (Fiko Invest), Mincho Minshev (Investbank), and Veselin Morov (Naba Invest).

Other brokers who haven't turned 30 yet are Alexander Nikolov from SIBank and Stefan Angelov from Varchev Finance – both 29.
