Budget Revenues Reach Lv 11,254.9 Mln in January-June 2007

The Council of Ministers approved a Report on the Implementation of the National Budget for the first six months of 2007. In the period under review the revenues under the consolidated fiscal programme totalled 11,254.9 million leva or 52.6 percent of the 2007 budget target.
A growth of 17.4 percent is reported compared to the like period of 2006.
As at June 30 tax proceeds totalled 2,308.3 million leva. This accounts for 70.6 percent of the target figure and is 32.5 percent up as from the like period of last year.
Proceeds from indirect costs totalled 4,529.2 million leva, accounting for some 46.6 percent of the target.
Revenues from social and health insurance contribution totalled 2,314.5 million leva or 50.7 percent of the targeted budget figure,
In the period under review consolidated budget expenditures stood at 9,093.3 million leva or 43.3 percent of the target figure. Expenditures were 11.2 percent up as from the like period of last year.
As at June 30 the fiscal reserve equalled 7,084.4 million leva. The surplus within the consolidated fiscal programme was 2,161.6 million leva.
