The two main indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange BG40 and SOFIX hit new records in today's session. The broad indicator climbed to 433.52 points, but closed at 429.38, or 0.33% down from yesterday. Meanwhile SOFIX added 0.54% to 1619.14 points, and at one point hit the record 1619.18 points.

The new indices BGREIT and BGTR30 both closed on negative territory, after losing 0.17% and 0.02%, respectively, to 98.00 and 1014.37 points.

The stock of ten public companies reached record levels today. Among these were Holding Patishta (25,050 leva), Moststroy (1430 leva), Industrial Holding Bulgaria (14,989 leva), Monbat (22,002 leva), Albena (131 leva), and Neochim (76.80 leva).

Lead and Zinc Complex hit the record 84.20 leva/share, but later on the price dropped to 78-79 leva/share on news that the company will not be included in the calculation of SOFIX.

Other stocks that reached highest ever levels today were the emissions of Industrial Holding Company, Besttehnika Radomir, and Alfa Wood Bulgaria.

The Board of Directors of BSE announced today that the emissions of Euroins, Sparky Eltos and Kaolin will be included in the calculation of SOFIX as of September 13. After the announcement was made, the stocks of the first two added nearly half per cent, while the price on the position of Kaolin where more than 200,000 shares changed hands at 15.16 leva/share dropped 6.3%.

Chimimport and Odessos Ship Repair Yard also ended on the negative today. The stock dropped 0.29% and 5.32%, respectively, to 13.91, and 312.58 leva, while Petrol AD dipped 0.87% to 4.57 leva.
