Representatives Of Bianor and SBS Opened BSE Trade Today
The shares of Bianor and SBS were floated on the BSE today with an official ceremony before the start of the session. Representatives of both companies rang the bourse bell at 9.30h this morning.
Bianor and SBS are the fourth and fifth company floating shares on the stock exchange this year. Both companies held their IPOs in the summer. There have been a total of 6 IPOs this year, and the stock of Devin is yet to be floated on the BSE.
SBS's Kiril Jeliazkov pointed out that both companies which start trade today operate in the IT sector, which is another sign of the increasing interest in the field.
SBS filed an IPO increasing capital from 3.319 mln leva (1.7 mln euros) to 5 mln leva (2.556 mln euros) by offering 33,620 shares with a face value of 50 leva and issue value of 68 leva.
Bianor held an IPO by the book-building principle between 25-29 June. The company raised a total of 1 383 750 leva (707,500 euros) in the IPO, that is 135,000 shares at 10.25 leva each.
764 shares of SBS have changed hands so far today at an average of 89.60 leva, while 115 shares have been transferred on the position of Bianor at 11.81 leva.
28 new companies have been introduced on the stock exchange this year, and 15 of them are real estate investment trusts (REITs). There have been 6 IPOs in 2007 – that of Kaolin, First Investment Bank, Corporate Commercial Bank, Devin, Bianor, and Specialized Business Systems.
On September 5 the bourse's market capitalization stood at 25.2 bln leva (12.884 bln euros), which is 48.2% of the country's expected GDP this year.
