Bulgarians, Italians and Greeks Most Stressed Out At Work, Survey Shows
Bulgarians, Italians and Greeks suffer the most stress at work among all EU workers, a survey by the Europena Foundation revealed.
On the other hand, employees in Finland, The Netherlands and Denmark are happiest at work.
63% of respondents in Itlay said they felt too much stress while at work. Bulgarians ranked second with 62,8%, followed by Greeks – 62,7%, Portuguese – 59,4%, employees in Slovakia are fifth with 55,1%, Cyprus – 53,9%, Germany – 51,1%, Austria – 43,6%, Great Britain – 41,1%, Czech Republic – 40%, and France – 38,4%.
The survey also found out more than one fifth of Europeans arrive home after work so exhausted they are unable to do anything else. More than half of EU citizens feel they dedicate more energy to their job than to their families and freetime.
One in seven Europeans think their job is boring. The majority of Euro citizens say they are afraid of losing their job. This is one of the worst fears for Germans, Poles and the French.
