Unipharm Becomes Public
At a general meeting held yesterday shareholders in Unipharm approved a proposal to list the company with the public register. The company's shares will become paperless.
The statute of Unipahrm was changed to meet the requirements of POSA.
The company thus moves one step closer to its BSE listing, experts say.
Unipharm's core activity is the production of medicines, as well as scientific research and experimental work with the aim of introducing new medicines in Bulgaria.
Unipharm has a capital in the amount of 500,000 leva (255,645 euros), after it was increased from 200,000 leva (102,258 euros) at the end of last year.
At the end of June Unipharm 2000 merged with Unipharm AD, after shareholder in both companies approved the deal.
Last year shareholders approved a capital increase and a proposal to list the company on the stock exchange.
