Monbat AD Posts January – August Revenues At 72 Mln Leva, Profit Tops 10 Mln Leva

) reported revenues in the amount of 10.729 mln leva (5.485 mln euros) in August 2007, which is 66% up from August 2006 figures. The company's revenues for the first eight months of the year stood at 72.142 mln leva (36.885 mln euros), or 45% up versus the same period last year.
August 2007 profit stands at 2.004 mln leva (1.024 mln euros). This is 300% up from August 2006. The company posts profit in the amount of 10.128 mln leva (5.178 mln euros) for the period January – August 2006. This figure surged 104% compared with the same period a year ago.
After calculating and analyzing the eight months result the company has decided to correct the 2007 profit prognosis it made in July.
Monbat had projected 2007 revenues at 118 mln leva (60.332 mln euros), but the figure is now corrected to 122 mln leva (6.237 mln euros). Net profit expectation is corrected from 15.5 mln leva (7.925 mln euros) to 16.7 mln leva (8.538 mln euros).
The management board also agreed on some amendments to the company's corporate agenda. According to the amendments Monbat will be presenting its monthly financial reports on the 25th of the following month. The reports will be presented after the end of the stock exchange session on the respective day. In the cases when the 25th is not a business day, the report will be presented on the first business day after 25th.
The quarter reports will be presented on the 30th of the month following the final month of the accounted period. Again, the reports will be posted after the end of the bourse session.
On November 15, 2007, Monbat AD will post its prognoses for the fiscal 2008 and 2009.
The company's stock price has increased 2.5 times since its bourse debut on January 3 this year.
