Hello once again, dear readers. Its' time for our weekend getaway again. I don't know why I say “our” when I am only writing, and you are the ones traveling. Anyway, as usual, I have prepared something very interesting.

This is hotel Agarta in the beautiful mountain resort Chepelare in my favorite Rhodope Mountains. I'm not just writing about the Rhodope Mountains because this is my favorite place on Earth, but because this is really the best place in Bulgaria to spend a pleasant and relaxing weekend.

What is so interesting about Chepelare? Wow, it's one of the most beautiful places in the Rhodopes (although for me, personally, as you know the most beautiful place there is the town of Trigrad, but that's my personal opinion).

What is more, you can visit Chepelare at any time of the year. All seasons have something unique to offer there.

As you know now, I can spend hours describing the beauty of the mountain, the rocks, the birds, and the advantages of fresh mountainous air, not to mention all activities a mountain resort can offer, but this time I'm sticking to the point.

Now, about the hotel. There are eight suites, two maisonettes, one VIP suite, one triple room, and a double room, There is cable TV and telephone in each room. All of them also have a terrace with a view to the quiet town streets. The VIP suite has a jacuzzi for two.

The hotel bar seats up to 30 people, and can be suited to hold business seminars, conferences, meetings. Of course, it would be best if you can go there not to do business, but to have fun.

The hotel has a lovely and very stylish restaurant, which seats 45 people and serves great food, including traditional Rhodopean specialties.

The hotel itself is decorated in a certain retro style, yet comfortable. It's like the modern version of something ancient. What grabs the attention at first glance is the magnificent lightning and that's all I'm going to say. Interested! Go and see for yourself.

At the end, or for dessert, as I love to say, here are the hotel rates. A double room costs 60 leva per night, and if you are alone it's just 40 leva. In case you decide to go there for a real one-week long holiday, you only pay 6 nights, the seventh is free.
