Kremikovtzi With Q3 Loss In The Amount Of 50.6 Mln Leva
Kremikovtzi JSC (
) posted a negative financial result in the amount of 72.1 mln leva (36.864 mln euros) for the Jan – Sept perid, versus 217.4 mln leva (111.154 mln euros) a year ago.
Just for Q3 the metallurgical plant's loss stands at 50.63 mln leva (25.886 mln euros), versus 64.256 mln leva (32.853 mln euros) a year ago.
Net sales revenues rose 30% to 815.33 mln leva (416.871 mln euros) between January and September, but just 2% in Q3.
Positive difference from operations with financial instruments came to 138.3 mln leva, and negative difference cost the company 119.9 mln leva.
Costs on economic elements grew 7.5% to 813.12 mln leva (415.741 mln euros).
Costs on interest rates almost doubled to 84.75 mln leva, and total liabilities reached the significant amount of 1.6 bln leva. The company's core capital stands at 18.517 mln leva (9.467 mln euros), and own capital is at 884.7 mln leva (452.339 mln euros).
Kremikovtzi's assets are worth a total of 2.5 bln leva (1.278 bln euros), of which the majority is machines and equipment – 694 mln leva, buildings – 308 mln leva, and land plots – 255 mln leva. Costs on acquisitions and liquidation of fixed assets came to 301 mln leva.
Main shareholders are Finmetals Holding, controlling 71% of the capital, and the Ministry of Economy and Energy with 25.29%.
In the past two months shares rose two-fold, and closed at 32.98 leva today.
