The Capitalization Of The Local Stock Exchange Drops 2.2 Bln Leva In Nine Days

The capitalization of Bulgarian Stock Exchange dropped 2.182 bln leva (7.49%) in nine trade sessions to 26.95 bln leva (13.780 bln euros) at the end of yesterday's trade.
SOFIX dropped 8.52% and BG40 lost 10.19%.
The Biggest correction suffered by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange was in 2005, when SOFIX declined by nearly 25%, and BG40 shed 13%.
SOFIX which had hit a record high on 22 February, slumped from 932.44 points, to 701.25 points, or 24.79%, by 23 June. BG40 shed 13% from 117.12 to 101.89 points in the same 4 months.
